Studio Apartments: Getting More from Less

It was a happy moment when I bought a studio apartment in Noida and am excited to move in as quickly as possible. This got others curious as to what prompted this decision and here it is.

With the advent of many Noida properties, there are families who invested in 2BHKs, 3BHKs and even 4 BHKs and those who could afford grabbed penthouses, independent floors and one even bought a villa. For me, a working professional, a small apartment sufficed. I had rented a 1 BHK for many years, but the moment I came across the information about available studio-style homes, I had to grab it.

The benefits of buying a studio apartment in Noida for me are aplenty, but this could differ from person to person. For one, it was a cost effective option and the price tag I paid was one fourth of a general 2BHK flat. Living in an open space has its advantages, but it is primarily the money-saving option that got me to seal the deal. Moreover, I can dress up the place as I wish— practical and simple.

A small space against larger Noida properties apartment is easier for me to manage and maintain which saves time and effort spent on daily household chores. The lesser use of utilities as opposed to a full-fledged house which would invariably consume more is a plus point. This also accounts for a lower home loan EMI to pay and thus, fits into my budget perfectly.

Adding to my savings is the use of less furniture and the ease to furnish given that the space is compact. It also gives me the leverage to use the air conditioner in summers and heater in winters for longer durations. Cooling and heating bills are drastically cut down which allows me to enjoy the conveniences comprehensively without the added worry of having to pay high electricity bills.
